if和unless的用法区别有：1、不能用and连接两个unless从句，即不能用…unless…、and unless….但if…not and if… not却不受此限。
2、if可用于引导虚拟条件句，unless一般不能引导虚拟条件句。
if的用法：if表示如果，可用于从句，或者开头表示如果。例句：If they were here,they would help you.如果他们在这儿，他们会帮助你。
